Somebody please go and slap Iwata. Miyamoto, stop making "Wii Something" games and go design a new Mario or Zelda. I have a strong dislike against the old "one Mario per console" rule they seem to have.
Well, seeing that Lindbergh was basically a PC, I am not that surprised it comes to PC as well. I hope it plays a lot like SF3, because that's the one I liked most.
You don't have a PS3, do you? Because my drive is even more silent than my Wii. The only thing that can get louder (louder as not silent, that is), is the fan, and even then it's still not as loud as a jet engine or some DVD drives I had in my PCs so far.
MGS4 isn't MGS/MGS2/MGS3. As Kojima himself said, it's your choice to go all out in an FPS style an force your way through or to sneak around, avoiding enemy contact. Yes, I have to agree that I wouldn't listen to heavy metal while infiltrating a base. But on the battlefield, when both sides of the conflict clash into each other, then I want some music that pumps me with adrenaline. I am sure that the music in this game will rock just like it did in the previous games, but it's nice to have t...
Well, there are two ways of product placement, imho.
Using an MP3 player of brand X - ok (as long as there isn't a fancy animation showcasing every inch of the thing everytime you put it on).
Seeing big advertisements in a city - ok (come on, we have that in RL too).
Having big bright advertisements in the middle of a battlefield, that magically didn't break and are in a completely different color than the surroundings - bad (just disrupts the mood).
Imagine the possibilities!
*kills bunch of soldiers without getting seen*
"CAN'T TOUCH THIS!"
Or when you freeze somebody:
"STOP! HAMMERTIME!"
Custom soundtrack in-game without killing the cutscenes? Lordi + Bandana for unlimited ammo (wanna bet there is one?) + ambushed by Gekkous = WIN. ****, now I'm excited. Bubble for making my day, Mercutio.
EDIT: Besides... listening to your MP3 player while in a full scale war? How badass can you be? I would love to see a comment from Snake à la "I don't even need my ears to find you." Well, like that, just more epic.
DAMN! 90 minutes? Sweet. June 12th can't be here fast enough.
No, it isn't. The new multipurpose (I think that's what you might call them) cellphones have 3D capabilitis which Nokia uses to release N-Gage software on them.
I know what you mean. I know of two guys which names are - translated, since very few people here know german - mr "meanwoman" and mr "pinkslip".
CFW would most likely solve this, seeing that CFW removed the region lock for the movie UMDs on the PSP.
All I really want from Sony is to erase that retarded region lock for PSX and PS2 games. Just because I am European I am forced to miss out games like Grandia 3 or both the MegaMan compilations. That's bull**** and you know it Sony. That's why I personally root for DAX to release a CFW just to show Sony how it can be done.
It's nice that everybody tries to make it improve, but seriously, CryTek needs to optimize the engine. How many people on earth can run it at playable speeds on the highest settings (even without AA and AF)?
Dear Capcom,
After you released SSFIITHDR, get your ass up and remake Street Fighter 3: Third Strike. Thank you.
EDIT: I just realized something... Capcom, can you make a Street Fighter that's name even in short form isn't longer than some games full name? I mean SSFIITHDR is quite a lot letters.
I just thought about buying a N96 when it comes out because of Metal Gear Solid Mobile, but that decision is crap. What's the problem with allowing me to move the software from on cellphone to another. Yeah, I know it's because of pirating, but this **** hurts the honest customer.
I agree with what Jrome wrote on this one. If you read the US IGN review for example, you will see that most of the time he wrote about the graphics. If you read the UK IGN review, he talks more about the gameplay and what you can do. So in my opinion, the more reviews you read, the more complete is the coverage of the cons and pros. Of course that goes for every game and not just for Haze.
BTW, Bladestar, you gave me a flashback. Your texts look like the clozes I had to do in fr...
I hope they can deliver the fun I had with the original SoulCalibur, add boobtastic characters à la DOA and make the online good. The previews were promising, so I have high hopes on that one.
If you mean the first DOAX, no, that's a patch AFAIK that you can apply to the game, but that would mean you have to rip it first and somehow make the XBox read your backup afterwards. Hey, of course I knew about that! ^_^
Thanks pharmd, I knew I'd get that wrong. *is not a native english speaker*
@ Ghoul: Yeah, I know what you mean. There is a VGA port, you have a VGA cable, one side fits. Still, there are people who get that wrong. Besides, I didn't even think about using "the wrong USB". Yeah, could be quite confusing, you're right.
It's a Wii. Super Smash Bros. Brawl, anyone?
